Application of Artificial Intelligence

Research Proposal I would like to explore the potential of artificial intelligence and its application to generating surgical robots. These robots will not actually do the surgeries themselves but will aid the surgeons in minimally invasive operations which will give the operators a greater control and focus that would not be possible by hand. Specifically, I want to look into the data to see if these robot-assisted surgeries will eventually develop into the robots completing the surgery themselves. Going further on the topic of robots that will complete the surgery themselves, I want to answer the question, "Would you let a robot perform your surgery by itself?" I want to look into the trustworthiness of current robots that complete surgeries and if there is high potential for error that could lead to critically harming outcomes.
